What is Touch the World? What is Touch The World?

Touch The World UK Ministries was established in 2001 with the purpose of helping young people catch a vision for mission work! The missions experience provides an environment for young people to see God working in and through their lives. Touch The World UK provides opportunities for young people to put their faith into action.

They will be placed in a local Church situation where they will be part of establishing long-term community projects and missions. We believe that one of the greatest areas where young people develop is in a team environment.

As a member of a Touch The World mission team, you will be placed with other young people from throughout the UK and USA. This will give you the opportunity to develop new friendships as youwork with others as a team. Learning to be part of a team helps prepare us for many areas of life. Our vision is to equip young people with a sense of their belonging, competence, andworth in God, in order to bring about an internal, lasting change that will enable them to stand strong in their biblicalbeliefs. Don’t miss this great opportunity to live out your faith in a practical way.

Stevan MeehanTraining Camp

One of the unique aspects of TTW is that we train all our leaders and members prior to them going out onto the mission field. This takes place over 6 days in rugged conditions at Auchincruive Estate, By Ayr. This is where you get the opportunity to meet and bond with your team, whilst being trained in youth and children’s work, drama, sports, sign dance, puppets, evangelism, sharing your own story etc.

A day at Training Camp starts with an early wake up call, quiet time, morning devotions, then into a full day of training. A major highlight of Training Camp is the rally each evening in the Big Top. It is jam-packed with team cheers, dramas, testimonies, worship and inspirational speakers. Often this is the most memorable part of mission and is talked about long after the ‘Big Top’ is packed away and you are back home. Camp is also a time where you get the opportunity to focus on God without the usual daily distractions.
